KAMLOOPS, B.C. - A pair of two-goal performances from Niko Huuhtanen and Jackson Berezowski spurred the Silvertips to victory over the Kamloops Blazers at the Sandman Centre by a 4-1 final.

Huuhtanen opened the scoring at 7:16 in the first period, capping off a rush with helpers from Triple H linemates Ben Hemmerling and Ryan Hofer. Huuhtanen would strike again at 11:55 in the frame, blasting a one-timer on the powerplay for his 28th goal of the season.

Later in the first, a crafty pass from Alex Swetlikoff sprung Jackson Berezowski on a breakaway, as the veteran roofed a backhander past Kamloops netminder Dylan Ernst for a 3-0 Silvertips lead.

Though the Blazers would find the back of the net in the second period, Berezowski would respond with another breakaway goal, a wrist shot for his 34th of the campaign.

Koen MacInnes stopped 28 of 29 in the win, his 14th of the season. The game marked Aidan Sutter's 100th career Western Hockey League contest, played in his hometown of Kamloops.

The Silvertips' point streak is now up to 11 games. They return home Saturday night at 6:05 p.m. to host the Victoria Royals. Tickets are available.
