Sharks reassign forward Ryan Vesce to Worchester

SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has reassigned forward Ryan Vesce to the Worcester Sharks, the team's top development affiliate in the American Hockey League.

At the time of his recall, Vesce led Worcester with 68 points (22 goals, 46 assists) in 63 games and was selected to the 2009 PlanetUSA AHL All-Star Team. He was tied for seventh overall among AHL scorers and fourth in assists.

Vesce played in ten games with San Jose, registering four penalty minutes.

Vesce was originally signed by San Jose as a free agent on August 12, 2008. He played collegiately for four seasons at Cornell, where he was a teammate of Douglas Murray.
