Aeros visit Peoria tonight at 7 p.m. in battle for second place

PEORIA, Ill. - The Houston Aeros and Peoria Rivermen are tied for second place in the West Division as they face off tonight in Carver Arena at 7:00 p.m. CDT. Peoria has the tiebreaker with 40 wins on the season compared to the Aeros 37 but each club has 84 points in 75 games played. Tune in to Joe O'Donnell and 1070-AM KNTH or watch the division race live on AHL LIVE.

The top four in each division extend their seasons and the Aeros magic number for clinching a playoff berth stands at four points over Iowa, Chicago and Quad City. Only four games remain on the Aeros regular season schedule after tonight with a game at Lake Erie tomorrow and three games against San Antonio next weekend April 10-12.

Next weekend includes two home contests (April 10 and 12) and a road trip to visit the Rampage on April 11. Fans are invited along to cheer the Aeros into the playoffs as the Aeros face the I-10 rival for the last time this season at AT&T Center. The Aeros and Buc-ee's have two busses headed to San Antonio next Saturday with 30 seats remaining. The last day to register for this trip is Thursday, April 9.
