Worcester, MA - Brodie Reid's goal with 6:21 remaining in the third period was the game-winner for the Worcester Sharks Friday night at the DCU Center, in a 3-1 victory over the Hartford Wolf Pack.

Tyler Gron also scored for Worcester and Daniil Tarasov added an empty-netter, and had an assist. Troy Grosenick made 21 saves to get the win in the Shark net. Ryan Bourque scored the only Wolf Pack goal, and Dov Grumet-Morris had 30 stops.

"I thought we came out real well, and then kind of got off of our game in the second period," Wolf Pack forward Brodie Dupont said. "It was one of those games where one bounce could have changed the game. I think the majority of the game we played well, but there was that 20-minute lapse that they took the momentum. We've got to get these points, so we've just got to put it behind us, take the positives out of it and keep going."

With the game tied at one in the third, Reid broke up a Wolf Pack clearing attempt near the blue line on the left-wing side. Yanni Gourde got the puck back to Reid, who cut across the slot and unloaded a shot that went off of Grumet-Morris and into the net, for what turned out to be the winner.

Tarasov iced the game with 34.5 seconds left, after the Wolf Pack pulled Grumet-Morris for an extra attacker, beating Conor Allen to the puck deep on the right-wing side and flicking it into the open net.

The only goal of the first period came on the game's first power play, with Gourde off for goaltender interference.

Bourque, who scored a shorthanded goal in the Wolf Pack's 3-2 loss to the Sharks Saturday at the XL Center, struck for his sixth of the season at 7:23, off of a pass from Oscar Lindberg. Lindberg fed the puck from below the goal line on the left-wing side to Bourque near the faceoff dot, and Bourque ripped a quick shot high into the net behind Grosenick.

A Shark power-play marker was the only scoring of a second period in which the Wolf Pack were outshot 13-6.

With Aaron Johnson off for delay of game, Gron scored his first career AHL goal to tie it up at 10:16. Gron gained control of the puck behind the net and played it toward the front of the goal, and it deflected off of Tarasov's stick toward the left side of the goalmouth. Gron moved back out from below the goal line, found the puck and snapped it past Grumet-Morris.
