Sergio Momesso Named Interim Assistant Coach Of Bulldogs

HAMILTON, ON - Hamilton Bulldogs General Manager Julien BriseBois announced today that Sergio Momesso has been named the interim assistant coach of the hockey club.

Momesso takes over for Ron Wilson who was named interim head coach yesterday. The native of Montreal, Quebec is a veteran of 13 National Hockey League seasons with the Montreal Canadiens, St. Louis Blues, Vancouver Canucks, Toronto Maple Leafs and New York Rangers. He played in 710 NHL games posting 345 points (152 goals, 193 assists) along with 1,557 penalty minutes. Momesso had been with the Montreal Canadiens as a Player Development Consultant.

The Hamilton Bulldogs host the Manitoba Moose on Friday, March 13th for a 7:30 p.m. game at Copps Coliseum.
