Houston Aeros News Release
HOUSTON, Texas - The Houston Aeros kick off a four-game week tonight at 7:05 p.m. when they host West Division rival Quad City Flames at Toyota Center. Tonight's game is part of the Flames last trip to Houston as the teams meet up again Friday night. Houston is currently in second place in the division at 71 points. Quad City is looking to fight back into a playoff position as the Flames stand in seventh at 64 points, only five points shy of Chicago in fourth place - the last playoff spot. Tickets are still available by calling (866) GO-AEROS or by stopping at the Toyota Center Box Office before the game.
The "Jerseys Off Their Backs" silent auction begins TONIGHT to help support Houston Aeros Charities (HAC). The silent auction is for the HAC jerseys the players have worn at select games. The auction will run at each game beginning tonight until five minutes remaining in the second intermission on Saturday, March 21. At the conclusion of the game, the winners are able to retrieve their favorite players jersey and have their picture taken with him at center ice. This fundraising initiative has rasied over $120,000 in the past four seasons. There are only four games to bid on your favorite player's jersey so bid early and often, and remember its for a good cause!
