April 2, 2004 - ECHL (ECHL)
Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies News Release
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies of the ECHL in conjunction with the South Jersey Field of Dreams organization have designated Saturday's regular-season finale at Boardwalk Hall as a "FUN-raiser" towards the construction of new local ballpark to benefit children with disabilities. The Bullies host the Wheeling Nailers at 7:05PM
A portion of the revenue from tickets purchased through the South Jersey Field of Dreams organization will be donated to the fund that will support the ballpark currently under construction in Absecon. The actual South Jersey Field of Dreams will be a specially designed baseball field for children with disabilities. Children from anywhere in South Jersey will be welcome to play.
To order tickets and make your donation to the South Jersey Field of Dreams, call Joe Kopervos at (609) 641-1890, or e-mail Ray Williams at raywilliams@hrexperts.com.
Tonight, the Bullies welcome the return of the Patrick J. Kelly Cup to Boardwalk Hall. The Kelly Cup has been on a 44-day tour throughout the country with stops in 9 ECHL cities. In just their second season, the Bullies captured the 2003 Kelly Cup, named in recognition of Patrick J. Kelly, one of the founding fathers of the ECHL.
With the Bullies on their way to the postseason, tickets for the 2004 ECHL Kelly Cup playoffs are on sale now. 13-game playoff packages start as low as $156. All unplayed game tickets can be applied toward ticket packages for the 2004-05 season. Individual playoff tickets for first round games are also on sale now, starting at $12. For more information or to order your 2004 ECHL Kelly Cup playoff tickets, call (609) 348-PUCK.
The Bullies battle the Toledo Storm at 7:05PM on Friday at Boardwalk Hall. The first 1,000 fans through the gates will have a chance to win a Ford Explorer sponsored by Gentilini Ford. The first 2,500 fans will receive a 2003-04 Bullies Souvenir Puck sponsored by BenchMark Mortgage.
