FLORENCE, SC â Prior to tonight's home finale against the Greensboro Generals, the Florence Pride announced that the team is changing its name back to the Pee Dee Pride. The team had been known as the Pee Dee Pride since its inception prior to the 1997-98 season through the end of the 2002-03 season when the name was changed to Florence.
In the near future, the Pride web-site and e-mail addresses will revert back to www.peedeepride.com.
Season tickets are now available for the 2004-2005 season. Be sure to reserve your seats today for all 36 home games of the Pee Dee Pride. For more information, or to place your order, call the Pride office at (843) 669-7825.
