
San Antonio Earns Point in 2-1 Overtime Loss to Tucson

TUCSON, Ariz. (Feb. 23, 2018) - Netminder Ville Husso recorded 28 saves to help the San Antonio Rampage (26-21-7-0) earn a point against the Tucson Roadrunners (29-16-2-1) in a 2-1 overtime loss on Friday at the Tucson Convention Center.?
Tucson opened the scoring at 15:55 of the opening period when Lane Pederson's wrister from the slot went over the glove of Husso. The remainder of the period went scoreless as the Roadrunners took a one-goal advantage into the first intermission.
San Antonio evened the game at one with a shorthanded tally at 10:43 of the second frame after Jordan Schmaltz found Shawn St. Amant on a breakaway, allowing the forward to beat goaltender Adin Hill for his fourth of the season.
After a scoreless third period, the contest was forced into overtime. Tucson landed the game winner 1:40 into the extra period after Mike Sislo received a backdoor pass from Laurent Dauphin and fired the puck past Husso, securing a 2-1 victory for the Roadrunners.
