February 23, 2018 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Rockford IceHogs News Release
ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Rockford IceHogs are hosting a Campbell's canned-soup drive for Brian Campbell Night next Wednesday, Feb. 28. Beginning Monday (Feb. 26), fans can donate cans of soup at the BMO Harris Center Box Office to receive buy-one-get-one-free tickets to the IceHogs game against the Texas Stars on Feb. 28 at 7 p.m.
Affectionately known as "Soupy," Stanley Cup champion Brian Campbell will be in attendance for the IceHogs game on Wednesday and will sign autographs for a select number of fans. Fans can donate cans of soup for the Campbell's drive to receive two special opportunities for Brian Campbell Night:
Fans will receive a BOGO ticket for EACH can of soup they donate (for example, if you donate two cans, you will receive two BOGO tickets). BOGO tickets are good for all seating options in the BMO Harris Bank Center, excluding premium seats.
The first 100 fans who donate at least 12 cans of soup at the game on Wednesday will be guaranteed the opportunity to meet and receive an autograph from Campbell during the game Wednesday night. Those 100 fans will receive a special ticket upon making their donation at the door, which can be redeemed for an autograph from Campbell during the game on Wednesday. Donations can be made at the Box Office or at the Season Ticket Holder entrances.
While Campbell's soup is preferred for donations, the IceHogs will accept all brands of canned soup for the soup drive. Donations can be made at the BMO Harris Bank Center Box Office from Monday until puck drop on Wednesday at 7 p.m. In addition, fans can also drop off their cans of soup at the Season Ticket Holder entrances once the doors to the BMO open for Wednesday's game at 6 p.m.
Donations for the canned-soup drive will benefit the Rock River Valley Pantry.
