Dunn Traded to Pittsburgh as Part of Brassard Deal

Belleville Senators forward Vincent Dunn has been traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins as part of Ottawa's trade of Derick Brassard to the defending Stanley Cup champions.

In the trade, Ottawa acquired goaltending prospect Filip Gustavsson, defenceman Ian Cole, a 2018 first-round draft pick and a 2019 third-round draft choice from the Penguins as part of a three-team trade with the Vegas Golden Knights. As part of the deal, centre Derick Brassard, Dunn and Ottawa's third-round selection in the 2018 will go to the Penguins.

Dunn played in 17 games with Belleville this season notching four assists, both a career high for the 22-year-old. Dunn also played in 16 games with the ECHL's Brampton Beast scoring seven times and adding an assist.

The Hull, QC., native was a fifth round draft pick of the Senators in 2013 (138th overall).
