The Salt Lake Bees scored seven runs after the seventh inning Thursday to come back and beat the El Paso Chihuahuas 9-5. The Bees took two of three games, preventing the Chihuahuas from winning their first two series of the season.

Raffy Lopez went 2-for-5 with two RBIs, with both RBIs coming on an inside-the-park home run in the third inning. It occurred when former Chihuahua Rymer Liriano slammed into the center field wall and was unable to immediately throw the ball in. It was the third inside-the-park home run in Chihuahuas history, and the first one for El Paso at Southwest University Park.

Luis Urias went 2-for-5 and has reached base in all seven of his games played this season. Outfielder Nick Schulz went 1-for-2 with a two-run homer and two walks. Brett Kennedy had his second strong start in as many tries, allowing two runs in 5.1 innings in a no-decision.
