Sky Sox Walk off Winners 7-6, Sweep 'Cakes

Colorado Springs - Jacob Nottingham smoked line drive to right field and Nate Orf scored from second base to give the Sky Sox a 7-6 walk-off win in the ninth inning.

The 'Cakes and Sox battled back and forth and New Orleans tied the game in the top of the ninth with a solo home run from Jonathan Rodriguez.

Angel Ventura gets the win in relief after getting a blown save in the top of the inning. Jumbo Diaz suffered the defeat.

Cito Culver led the 'Cakes 3 RBI. The Sky Sox swept the 'Cakes in the three game series.

GAME NOTES: Peter Mooney has a hit in each of his seven games this season.

UPCOMING- The 'Cakes travel to Oklahoma City to open a four game set against the Dodgers. The 'Cakes will start RHP Ben Meyer (1-0) against Brock Stewart at 7:05.
