Royals Sign Larry Courville

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League and the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, today announced that the team has signed forward Larry Courville.

An eleventh year pro from Timmons, Ontario, currently residing in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Courville (6'2"/185) (31) has scored two goals and assisted on two others in ten games with the Royals this season. It is expected that Courville will be in the line-up tonight when the Royals take on the Johnstown Chiefs.

At tonight's game, Athletic Trainer Brian Grogesky will become the third person in team history inducted into the Reading Eagle Wall of Honor. The first 2000 fans that night will receive a Brian Grogesky trading card courtesy of the Reading Eagle. Royals' game night broadcasts can be heard live on ESPN Radio 1240 am (and on the internet through the Royals' website, www.royalshockey.com), beginning thirty minutes before the opening face-off. Streaming video is also available for $6.00 per game through the B2 Networks, which can be accessed through the Royals' website.
