Royals Place Kevin Saurette On Thirty-Day Injured Reserve

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League and the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, today announced that forward Kevin Saurette has been placed on the thirty-day injured reserve. In separate transactions today, the Royals also: (i) activated defenseman Donny Grover; (ii) placed defenseman Victor Uchevatov on the three-day injured reserve; and (iii) transferred forward Dany Roussin from the three-day injured reserve to the seven-day injured reserve.

The Royals return to action tonight (7:05 pm) when the Trenton Devils make their first appearance at the Sovereign Center in Reading. The first 1500 fans in attendance that night will receive a camouflage hat courtesy of Medalist Performance Apparel and Mossy Oak. The game night broadcast will begin at 6:35 pm with the pre-game warm-up show on ESPN Radio 1240 am in Ephrata, PA, as well as on the internet through the Royals' website, www.royalshockey.com. Streaming video is available on a pay per view basis through the B2 Networks.
