
Defenseman Ryan Reid Makes Season Debut

Dayton, OH- The Dayton Bombers General Manager Don MacAdam and Head Coach Bill McDonald announced today that defenseman Ryan Reid has been activated off the injured reserve list and will be in the line up this weekend for the Bombers, making his first on-ice appearance of the season.
Reid, a 28-year-old Chicago native, returns to the Bombers for his second season. During the 2006-07 campaign he appeared in all 72 regular season games and recorded 12 points on 2 goals and 10 assists. Reid also played in each of the Bombers' 22 Kelly Cup Playoffs games, where he picked up one assist. Reid ended the season with the second highest plus/minus in the league, +32.
MacAdam and McDonald also announced today that defenseman Jason Goulet has been traded to the Bakersfield Condors for future considerations.
Goulet, a 24-year-old native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, had played in seven games for the Bombers this season, but had not recorded any points. Goulet had been whistled for 19 PIM.
The Bombers are on the road tonight as they face the Johnstown Chiefs, and return to action at the Nutter Center on Saturday against the Wheeling Nailers at 7:00 p.m. Fans are encouraged to wear the colors of Ohio State and Michigan to save $2 off Silver Level tickets at the box office.
On Sunday at 5:00 p.m. the Bombers face the rival Cincinnati Cyclones in the make up of the cancelled October 28 "Zamboni malfunction" game.
