Royals End Wranglers' Home Streak

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers (24-6-3, 51 Points) lost their first home game in regulation on Tuesday night to the Reading Royals (20-6-2, 42 Points) 3-2 at the Orleans Arena. Centers Matt Dzieduszycki and Chris Stanley each scored for the Wranglers. Reading winger Dany Roussin had a goal and an assist in the Royals win. Las Vegas goalie Mike McKenna made 23 saves, taking his first regulation loss of the season and moving his record to 9-1-2. Phoenix will visit the Orleans Arena this Friday at 7:05 pm.

In the first period, the Wranglers took a 1-0 lead as Matt Dzieduszycki scored his 14th goal of the season. Reading tied the game at one with 45-seconds remaining in the period, with a power-play goal by Doug Christiansen.

In the second period, Dany Roussin picked up a loose puck in front of the Wranglers net and scored to put the Royals in the lead at 2-1. Royals' winger Mike Kompon added his ninth goal of the season to make it a 3-1 Reading lead. Less than one minute later, Chris Stanley scored the final goal of the game to bring the score to 3-2.

Phoenix will visit the Orleans Arena on Friday, January 6th, as the Wranglers hand out book covers compliments of Creel Printing. Stockton will be at the Orleans Arena on Saturday, January 7th at 7:05 pm. Before the game on Saturday, fans may attend the Port of Subs Pre-Game Party from 4:30 - 6:30 pm at the Orleans Arena. Also, on Saturday the 7th, fans can watch Big Elvis and his performances between periods.

Tickets for all games are on sale now. Fans may purchase seats to all Wranglers home games at any of the following ticket locations: The Orleans Arena Box Office, Coast Casinos' showroom box offices at The Orleans, Gold Coast, South Coast and Suncoast, or at the Galleria Mall guest relations/ticket centers.
