Bakersfield's McHugh Fined, Suspended Three Games

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Wednesday that Bakersfield defenseman Oriel McHugh has been fined an undisclosed amount and suspended three games as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #342 against Fresno on Dec. 30.

At 4:04 of the second period, McHugh was assessed a major penalty for tripping and a game misconduct under Rule 48 - Checking From Behind.

McHugh is suspended three games under Rule 33A Supplemental Discipline.

McHugh missed Bakersfield's game against Stockton (Dec. 31) and will miss Bakersfield's games at Long Beach (Jan. 6) and against Alaska (Jan. 7).
