Fresno's Murphy Fined, Suspended Two Games

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Wednesday that Fresno defenseman
Cory Murphy has been fined an undisclosed amount and suspended two games as
a result of his actions in ECHL Game #366 at Phoenix on Jan. 1.
At 9:31 of the second period, Murphy was assessed a major penalty and a
game misconduct under Rule 53(b) - Elbowing.
Murphy is suspended two games under Rule 33A Supplemental Discipline.
Murphy will miss Fresno's games at Victoria (Jan. 5) and at Victoria (Jan.
6).
