Reading Royals News Release
Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL and the American Cancer Society today announced that the Royals' ACS Night, originally planned for Saturday, March 10, has been moved to Friday, March 23, 2012 (7:05 pm) when the Royals will take on Trenton Titans at the Sovereign Center in Reading, Pennsylvania. ACS Night has been moved to the new date to ensure that the Sovereign Center is resplendent in lilies, the flower symbolizing health, hope and remembrance for ACS, which is dedicated to the effort of eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.
Please note that the Royals' game on Saturday, March 10, 2012 (7:05 pm), when Reading will also take on the Trenton Titans, will still feature a team trading card set which will be given to the first 2500 fans in attendance courtesy of Rieck's Printing. Please note that Saturday, March 10, will also be a Scout Night for all area troops. Please contact your Royals ticket representative (610-898-7825) for more information.
The Royals return to action on Friday night (March 2, 2012 @ 7:35 pm) when the team will travel to First Arena in Elmira, New York, where they'll kick off fifteen games of hockey action in March with three in a row against the Elmira Jackals. Friday's game night broadcast will start at 7:05 pm with the Red Robin Gourmet Burger Pre-Game Warm-up Show on ESPN Radio 1240 am in Reading. Streaming audio is available free of charge courtesy of America One through the Royals' website, www.royalshockey.com.
