Peoria, Ill. (November 20, 2004) – A night after scoring five goals on the road in Toledo, the Rivermen couldn't muster one goal for the second time in four games, losing to the archrival Toledo Storm 1-0 on Saturday night in front of 6,056 at Carver Arena in the back end of a home-and-home set between the clubs.

The Rivermen, who have lost five of their last six games in regulation, were shut out 1-0 in Wheeling last Sunday.

Rookie Logan Koopmans (1-1-1) picked up his first professional win and shutout, stopping all 32 Peoria shots and an especially tough 10 chances in the final session.

Parillo took a feed from Pierre-Luc Sleigher, broke into the Peoria zone down the right side and slipped the puck through the legs of Beckford-Tseu at 13:50.

There was no scoring in the second or third period.

On Thursday, November 25 – Thanksgiving, the Rivermen host the Reading Royals at 7:30 p.m. at Carver Arena.
