
Hayward Heads to Providence

TRENTON, NJ (November 21, 2004) -The Trenton Titans today announced that forward Leon Hayward has been signed to a professional tryout contract by the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League.
Hayward, a native of Seattle, Washington, has tallied 4 points (3g, 1a) and 30 penalty minutes in 7 games for the Titans and is second on the team in goals scored.
The 25-year old attended the Bruins training camp earlier this year and had an assist in four preseason games. Hayward is the second Titan to head to Providence this season, joining goaltender Andrew Allen who was signed on November 16.
