Manchester, NH- RHP Cam Reimers is back with the Fisher Cats today after joining the Triple-A Syracuse SkyChiefs for one start. Reimers started on June 29 in Durham and went 4 innings, giving up 7 runs on 7 hits. He walked 2, struck out 2, and surrendered 2 home runs. He filled in for the day for the injured Shaun Marcum (blister).
Reimers is 6-5 with a 4.19 ERA in 15 games with New Hampshire this year. The 26-year-old was a 35th round pick of the Blue Jays in the 1998 draft.
The Fisher Cats return home on Friday, July 1 as they host the Altoona Curve, Double-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, for Independence Day weekend. Dancing Christopher will perform at Fisher Cats Ballpark Friday night for the 6:35 PM game. Saturday's game is at 5:05 PM and the first 1,500 fans receive a Beach Towel.
