Reign Transactions in Full Force as Playoffs Approach

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, back-to-back Pacific Division Champions and proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings and Winnipeg Jets, announced that goaltender Jussi Olkinuora has been returned from the St. John's IceCaps, rookie forward Dennis Brown has been out of Western Michigan University, and forward Brett Beebe has been placed on waivers.

Olkinuora, 23, returns to the Reign where he had a record of 12-11-1-0, a 3.06 goals-against average, and a .882 save percentage. In his time with the Reign had one shutout which marked his first-ever ECHL shutout.

The Helsinki, Finland native has appeared in 10 games with the IceCaps this season for a 3.25 goals-against average and .893 save percentage with one shutout.

Brown, 24, joins the Reign after completing four seasons with WMU's hockey program earning a total of 65 points (8g, 57a). In 2011-12, the Cypress, CA native earned a CCHA Championship with Western Michigan.

While playing at the junior level, Brown played in the USHL with Lincoln and Omaha. In 2009-10, his final season, he appeared in the USHL All-Star game representing the Omaha Lancers.

Beebe, 24, made his professional debut with the Reign scoring 16 points (4g, 12a) in 48 games. He has been placed on waivers after missing the past five games.

Reign Drops:

The Reign are on the road Wednesday, Apr. 2 but will return to Citizens Business Bank Arena to finish out the regular season! The Reign host the Condors on Friday, Apr. 4 at 7 p.m. Start the party early at Hooters Ontario with a 5 p.m. pre-game rally. On Sunday, Apr. 6 the Reign take on the Stockton Thunder at 4 p.m. and will Salute the Heroes with a USO presence at the game. Be sure to bid on the team-signed military jersey which will be at the silent auction table at this game!
