Condors Receive Captain Joel Broda from Bridgeport

CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors, owned by the Edmonton Oilers, announced today that C Joel Broda has been released from his Professional Tryout (PTO) with the American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, and has returned to the Condors. He is expected to play this weekend and will be in Bakersfield for his bobblehead night on Saturday at 7 p.m.
BRODA - stats Played 17 games with Bridgeport with two goals and four assists for six pointsSecond stint in the AHL this season after playing eight games with Oklahoma City to begin the year with a goal and an assit for two pointsWas the Condors leading scorer at the time of his departure and has 35 points (19g-16a) in 35 games with Bakersfield this seasonNamed the ECHL's Player of the Week on Jan. 19 when he registered four goals and three assists for seven points in four games
