Thinking Positive
On Monday defenseman Jeremie Blain earned the AMI Graphics ECHL Plus Performer of the Month. Blain, who finished the month of March at +13, became the third K-Wings player in the past two months to receive the award joining Justin Taylor and Yannick Veillieux, who received the honor in February.
Strong Down the Stretch
The K-Wings have been tough to beat since February. Since February 1st, Kalamazoo has earned a record of 23-3-0-2, which includes a record of 9-2-0-2 in March.
Snapping a Streak
While it doesn't seem that long, the K-Wings start the week looking to snap a season-tying tying two-game winless (0-1-0-1) streak. Kalamazoo is 1-2-0-2 in their last five games.
