Reign Squeak by Wranglers, 2-1

Ontario, Calif. - The Ontario Reign used two third period goals to take down the Las Vegas Wranglers on Friday night by a score of 2-1. Las Vegas goaltender Travis Fullerton made 33 saves in the loss, pushing the Wranglers' record to 2-2-0 on their current six-game road trip.

For the fifth straight game it would be the Wranglers drawing first blood, as Adam Huxley (6) put Las Vegas on top 1-0 just 3:30 into the opening frame. Assists on the goal would go to Shawn Skelly (12) and Brendan Rempel (1), his first point as a member of the Wranglers.

The 1-0 score would hold through the close of the second period as Wranglers goaltender Travis Fullerton made 21 saves on 21 shots thorough the first two frames.

Just 7:26 into the third period Ontario would finally break through as Maxim Kitsyn (9) tied the game at one, assisted by Rocco Carzo (23) and Matt Register (25). Just a short 22 seconds later the Reign would punch through again, this time off the stick of Jonathan Parker (12), assisted again by Carzo (24) and Reigster (26), their second helpers of the game.

Next up, the Wranglers' six-game road swing continues with hikes to Stockton on Sunday, Mar. 16 and Bakersfield on Tuesday, Mar. 18. After that the team will return back to Las Vegas on Thursday, Mar. 20 to take on the Alaska Aces. The Wranglers will then host their fourth annual " Regrettable Tattoo Night " on Saturday March, 22 against the Colorado Eagles, featuring the stars of A&E's "Bad Ink," as well as a free post-game concert by Great American Taxi. The three-game home stand then concludes with a 2:05 matinee game with a free post-game skate on Sunday, Mar. 23 against the Bakersfield Condors.
