
Reign Make Roster Changes

Ontario Reign News Release
ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings, announced that defenseman Jordan Hill (Manchester Monarchs) and center Dusty Collins (Manitoba Moose) have returned to Ontario from loans to clubs in the American Hockey League, and defenseman Lane Caffaro has been suspended by the team.
Hill, 21, started the 2010-2011 season in Manchester, appearing in five games with the club before joining the Reign on November 6. The defenseman from Sarnia, Ontario, appeared in 14 games with the Reign this season and recorded one assist and 19 penalty minutes before being called up to Manchester on December 11. Prior to going pro, Hill played with the Sarnia Sting (OHL) from 2007-09, as well as part of the 2009-10 season before being traded to the Saginaw Spirit where he finished out the year. He wrapped up his junior career with 65 points (16g, 49a) and 171 penalty minutes in 201 regular season contests and three points (2g, 1a) and 12 penalty minutes in 18 playoff appearances.
Collins, 25, was called up to Manitoba on January 16. Prior to his AHL call-up, the center from Gilbert, Arizona appeared in 28 games with the Reign this season, recording 15 points (7g, 8a) and 41 penalty minutes. Collins started the 2010 - 2011 season in San Antonio (AHL), recording 10 penalty minutes in seven games with the Rampage before joining the roster in Ontario. The center spent the 2009 - 2010 season with Manitoba, scoring four points (2g, 2a) and collecting 93 penalty minutes in 70 games. Collins also appeared in 24 games during the Reign's inaugural season before finishing out the year with the Moose.
Caffaro, 26, was acquired by the Reign in a trade from the Idaho Steelheads (ECHL) on October 26. He appeared in 36 games with Ontario this season, notching 17 points (6g, 11a) and 36 penalty minutes. Caffaro started his professional hockey career with the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins (AHL) during the 2008-09 season immediately following his fourth year with Union College (ECAC). The defenseman from Slave Lake, Alberta appeared in four games with the Penguins, recording one assist and six penalty minutes. Caffaro split the 2009-10 season between the Penguins and the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL). He finished the season with a combined 14 points (2g, 12a) and 62 penalty minutes between the clubs.
