ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Friday announced the following fines and suspensions resulting from ECHL Game #379, Reading at Florida, on Jan. 22.
Reading ¬â¢s Todd Perry has been suspended for five games and has been fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline. Perry was assessed a fighting major and game misconduct under Rule #70.1 for leaving the players ¬â¢ bench during an altercation. He will miss Reading ¬â¢s games vs. Greenville (Jan. 28 and 29), at Elmira (Jan. 30), vs. Wheeling (Feb. 2) and vs. Trenton (Feb. 4).
Reading ¬â¢s Ryan Donald has been suspended for two games and has been fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline. Donald was assessed a fighting major and game misconduct under Rule #70.1 for leaving the players ¬â¢ bench during an altercation. He will miss Reading ¬â¢s games vs. Greenville on Jan. 28 and 29.
Reading ¬â¢s Yannick Riendeau has been suspended for one game and has been fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline. Riendeau will miss Reading ¬â¢s game vs. Greenville on Jan. 28.
Reading ¬â¢s Chris Blight and Brett Gallant have each been fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Reading coach Larry Courville has been suspended for one game and has been fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline. Courville will miss Reading ¬â¢s game vs. Greenville on Jan. 28.
The Reading organization has been fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #70.1 - Leaving the Bench.
Florida ¬â¢s Elgin Reid has been suspended for five games and has been fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline. Reid was assessed a fighting major and game misconduct under Rule #70.1 for leaving the players ¬â¢ bench during an altercation. He will miss Florida ¬â¢s games at Kalamazoo (Jan. 28), at Toledo (Jan. 29 and 30) and vs. Greenville (Feb. 2 and 4).
Florida ¬â¢s Mike Egener has been suspended for three games and has been fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline. Egener was assessed a fighting major and game misconduct under Rule #46.15 as well as a Match Penalty under Rule #21.1 - Deliberate Attempt to Injure an Opponent. He will miss Florida ¬â¢s games at Kalamazoo (Jan. 28) and at Toledo (Jan. 29 and 30).
Florida ¬â¢s Ethan Graham, Alex Hutchings, Alexandre Imbeault, Cedric Lalonde-McNicoll, Mike McKenzie and Bobby Raymond have each been fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Florida coach Greg Poss has been suspended for one game and has been fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline. Poss will miss Florida ¬â¢s game at Kalamazoo on Jan. 28.
The Florida organization has been fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #70.1 - Leaving the Bench.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players ¬â¢ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player ¬â¢s Hardship Fund.
