Comrie, Del Monte Return to Cincinnati

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The 2010 Kelly Cup Champion Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that defenseman Adam Comrie and forward Ryan Del Monte have been returned to the Cyclones from the American Hockey League. Comrie had been on the roster with the Rochester Americans while Del Monte was skating with the Worcester Sharks. The Cyclones have also signed forward Eric Kattelus to a try-out agreement.

Comrie, a third-round Florida Panthers draft choice in 2008, has appeared in six games with the Cyclones this season - collecting a pair of assists and 14 penalty-minutes in that span. While with the Americans, he has a total of three assists and 10 penalty-minutes in 17 games.

Del Monte returns to Cincinnati after spending much of the year in the American Hockey League. His most recent stint was spent with the Worcester Sharks, San Jose's top minor league affiliate. In 15 games with the Sharks, the Mississauga, Ontario native registered four points (1 goal, 3 assists) and 13 minutes in the sin-bin.

Kattelus (Cuh-TELL-us) will embark on his professional career after playing three seasons at Michigan Tech (WCHA). The six-foot-one, 183-pound forward also has two years of experience in both the NAHL and the USHL, notching 146 points (59 goals, 87 assists) in 187 total games as an amateur.

The defending Kelly Cup Champions will return to U.S. Bank Arena TONIGHT as they play host to the South Carolina Stingrays at 7:30pm for the annual Military Appreciation Night presented by The Y. The Cyclones will wear special-edition camouflage jerseys that fans will have an opportunity to purchase at auction after the game.
