South Carolina Stingrays News Release
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays take on the Augusta Lynx this afternoon at the North Charleston Coliseum. The puck drops at 4 p.m. Doors will open for season ticket holders at 2:30 p.m. and at 3 p.m. for the general public.
This is the second meeting between the teams in three days. The Rays won the first game 4-1 at the James Brown Arena in Augusta behind goals from Viktor Dovgan, Peter Szabo, Ryan Bennett and Josh Anderson and 32 saves from goaltender Davis Parley.
This is the third game in three days for the Stingrays including the win against Augusta on Friday and a win last night in Pensacola 4-3 in overtime.
Augusta won their game yesterday against the Charlotte Checkers 4-1.
The Rays are 35-18-9 all-time against the Lynx including 2-0 this season.
