The Stingrays will be out at Jenkins Institute for Children in North Charleston on Tuesday, Feb. 12th from 3pm -6pm to help clear the way for a botanical garden. Jenkins Institute is a non- profit corporation that specializes in residential group care programs in a group setting whose primary need is physical and emotional nurture. Jenkins Institute Night is this Saturday, Feb. 16th. To purchase a ticket to the game, with 100% of the proceeds going toward Jenkins Institute, please contact the Bridge and 98x. Saturday is also Military Night at the Stingrays. The players will be wearing special Military Jerseys that will be auctioned off live after the game. Purchase tickets at the door with a valid military ID for just $9.

The Stingrays had a busy week last week as the team played four games in six days, three of them at home. The Rays finished the week two and two with wins against Charlotte and Wheeling and losses to Charlotte and Texas.

Travis Morin is 8th in the league in scoring with 51 points (23g-28a) in 46 games. Morin also leads the league with his five short-handed goals.
Grant McNeill is tied for league lead in minor penalties with 49 in 41 games. His 148 penalty minutes and ten major penalties is second among defensemen in both categories.
In goalie news, Davis Parley is 8th among goalies with a 2.43 goals-against average.
Among rookies, the Stingrays have two of the top-20 point scorers. Travis Morin is 4th with 51 points, and Pierre-Luc O'Brien's 40 points places him 12th. Morin's 23 goals also places him 4th and O'Brien's 32 assists ties him for 4th. Morin has nine power play goals on the year, which is fourth among rookies and his five short-handed goals is first.
The Stingrays have sole possession of 2nd place in the South Division, one point ahead of Gwinnett and are 4th in the American Conference.
The Stingrays are 7th in the power play, converting 19.34% of the time, and 11th in the penalty kill, successful 83.9% of the time.
