CHECKERS DISMANTLE ICE PILOTS, WIN 4-0
Charlotte, N.C. - Mike Ayers supplied the shut out and Lee Falardeau scored two goals in his return to the line up as the Charlotte Checkers defeated the Pensacola Ice Pilots, 4-0.

CHECKERS DROWN STINGRAYS, WIN 5-1
Charlotte, N.C. - Head coach and general manager of the Charlotte Checkers, Derek Wilkinson needed one more victory to have sole possession of second place in wins for a Checkers head coach-he would get that tonight as his team defeated the South Carolina Stingrays by a score of 5-1 giving Wilkinson his 147th win.

CHECKERS COMEBACK THWARTED IN OVERTIME BY STINGRAYS, LOSE 3-2
Charleston, S.C. - The Checkers had a valiant third period comeback washed away as they surrendered the game winning goal in overtime to the South Carolina Stingrays by a score of 3-2.
