Texas' Emmerson Suspended One Game, Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced that it has suspended Texas forward
Riley Emmerson for one game and fined him an undisclosed amount as a result
of his actions in ECHL Game #584 at South Carolina on Feb. 9.
At 14:42 of the third period, Emmerson was assessed a major penalty and a
game misconduct for checking from behind.
Emmerson is suspended and fined under Rule 29 Supplemental Discipline.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and
the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the
ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Emmerson will miss Texas' game at Trenton (Feb. 12).
