San Antonio Rampage News Release
ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT WEEKDAY-Tuesday: Tomorrow night fans can get the All-You-Can-Eat package for only $20 and includes a game ticket and bottomless popcorn, soda, nachos, peanuts and hot dogs.
$1 DRINK NIGHT-Friday: This Friday fans can enjoy a KISS Rocks $1 Drink Night featuring $1 draft beer and $1 fountain soda.
FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT-Sunday: This Sunday is the final Rampage home game of the 2010-11 regular season. The Rampage will give away more than 8,000 prizes valued at more than $20,000 and one lucky fan will walk away with a brand new set of tires courtesy of Firestone. It is also a Sunday Funday in which fans can skate on the ice two hours prior to the game.
MR. 700: Center Randy Robitaille scored a goal as he skated in his 700th professional game on March 30 at Milwaukee.
#WINNING: The Rampage have posted the second-most wins in franchise history with 39. The previous record was 36 wins in 2002-03, 2008-09 and 2009-10. The Rampage tallied the most wins in 2007-08 with 42 on the season.
LIGHTING THE LAMP: Right wing Matt Beaudoin and center Bracken Kearns have each posted their AHL-career best 20 goals in a season. This is the first time, since the 2007-08 season, that the Rampage have had four 20-goal scorers.
ICE CHIPS: Eric Neilson- Right wing
Right wing Eric Neilson tallied one goal and one assist over the weekend giving him his first professional point-streak. Neilson has recorded three points (1g,2a) on the year all coming against his former team, the Peoria Rivermen.
Neilson will be presented with the Rampage's Man of the Year Award this Friday prior to puck drop. His outstanding contributions to the San Antonio community earned him the honor and he is now a candidate for the AHL's Yanick Dupre Award that will be announced this week. This is his third consecutive nomination for the annual award.
THIS WEEK'S GAMES
Tuesday, April 5 vs. Rockford IceHogs
AT&T Center, 7:00 p.m.
The Rampage will host the Rockford IceHogs Tuesday night as they look to control the season series which currently sits a 3-2-0-0 heading into the last meeting between the two clubs.
Friday, April 8 vs. Oklahoma City Barons
AT&T Center, 7:00 p.m.
The Rampage hold a 5-4-0-0 advantage in the series with the Barons during the 2010-11 campaign after coming off a 4-3 win in their last contest with Oklahoma City.
Saturday, April 9 @ Chicago Wolves
Allstate Arena, 7:00 p.m.
The Rampage will play their final road game of the year against a Chicago Wolves squad that they have not seen since late January when they posted a 4-1 victory in San Antonio's first-ever Pink in the Rink night. The series record is 4-1-0-0 in favor of San Antonio.
Sunday, April 10 vs. Texas Stars
AT&T Center, 4:30 p.m.
The Rampage will wrap up the 2010-11 regular season at home against their in-state rival the Texas Stars. San Antonio has gone 3-3-3-0 against the Stars with five of the nine contests requiring overtime or a shootout. Texas holds a three point advantage over the Rampage in the Lone Star Faceoff.
