
Atlanta Calls for Zubarev

The Atlanta Thrashers have recalled defenseman ANDREY ZUBAREV from the Chicago Wolves.
ZUBAREV has posted 10 assists and 13 points in 51 games during his American Hockey League debut this season.
The 24-year-old blueliner tallied a career-high seven goals and 16 points in 55 outings with Mytischi Atlant of the Kontinental Hockey League last year. His seven goals paced team defensemen, while his nine assists and 16 points held third among team rear guards.
Overall, the Ufa, Russia, native registered 20 points (7G, 13A) and 123 penalty minutes in 90 career KHL contests with Atlant (2008-10) and 20 points (6G, 14A) and 164 penalty minutes in 110 Russian Super League games with Ufa (2003-05) and Ak-Bars-Kazan (2005-08).
The Wolves take on the Peoria Rivermen at Carver Arena on Fri., April 8, at 7 p.m.
