Crunch Assign Left Wing Eric Lampe to Elmira

Syracuse, NY (April 4, 2011) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have assigned left wing Eric Lampe to Elmira (ECHL).

Lampe, 24, has appeared in 21 games with the Crunch this season, tallying three points (2g, 1a) and 12 penalty minutes. In addition, he has skated in 38 games with Elmira this year, collecting 34 points (17g, 17a) and 12 penalty minutes.

A native of Madison, Wisconsin, Lampe appeared in 150 games over four seasons with Quinnipiac (ECAC) from 2006-10, recording 102 points (47g, 55a) and 278 penalty minutes. He was signed by the Crunch to an American Hockey League contract on August 9, 2010.

The Crunch finish off their home schedule with a pair of games against Norfolk on Thursday, April 7 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 9 at 7:30 p.m. at The Oncenter War Memorial Arena.
