WILD WILD WEST: Seventeen of the Rampage's final 21 games of the season, along with the last 15 straight contests, are against opponents in the West Division. Every point is critical for a playoff berth as the top seven seeds of the eight-team bracket are sepa- rated by six points. San Antonio is 22-17-2-0 when competing against clubs from the West Division.
GOING THE EXTRA MILE: The Rampage are undefeated in shootouts so far this season going 6-0 after posting a 3-2 shootout win over the Texas Stars in seven rounds on Sat., Feb. 26. The Rampage have allowed the fewest number of goals in shootouts letting in only three of 27 attempts. San Antonio also has the second-highest percentage of shoot- out goals scoring 14 times on 27 opportunities for a .519 shot percentage.
HOME IS WHERE THE WINS ARE: The Rampage have recorded 18 wins at home so far this season which is the most among West Division opponents. Eight of San Antonio's next 10 games will be held at the AT&T Center.
ICE CHIPS: Randy Robitaille- Center
Center Randy Robitaille has made an immediate impact to the Rampage attack. He has earned a point in his last two games scoring a goal versus Oklahoma City on Friday and collecting an assist on Saturday against Texas while also scoring the game- winning goal in the seventh round of the shootout.
The Ottawa, Ontario native is an 11-year National Hockey League (NHL) veteran having played in 531 NHL games. He was also the recipient of the 1998-99 Les Cunningham Award given to the AHL's most valuable player.
