Crunch Announce Details of Central New York Air Hockey Tournament Series

Syracuse, NY (February 28, 2011) -The Syracuse Crunch announced today the details of the Central New York Air Hockey Tournament Series to be held throughout the month of March.
The series will feature six (6) air hockey tournaments with the winner from each satellite tournament being invited to the Crunch's March 25 game against Albany. The finalists will face off at center ice during the Crunch's home contest to determine the Central New York Air Hockey Champion. The winner will receive a prize pack, courtesy of the Syracuse Crunch.
The full schedule for the Central New York Air Hockey Tournament Series is as follows:
Tuesday, March 1 - J. Ryan's located at 253 E. Water Street in Syracuse
Tuesday, March 8 - Gio's Sports Bar located at 207 Walton Street in Syracuse
Wednesday, March 9 - Clinton Street Pub located at 127 W. Fayette Street in Syracuse
Monday, March 15 - Lamont Tavern located at 108 Lamont Avenue in Solvay
Monday, March 21 - Quaker Steak and Lube located at 3535 Walters Road in Syracuse
Thursday, March 24 - Hafners located at 5224 W. Taft Road in North Syracuse
Each satellite tournament will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. except for Wednesday, March 9 at Clinton Street Pub, which will be held from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Anyone interested in competing can contact Mark Hayes or Maggie Walters at (315) 473-4444. Walk-ups are welcome.
The Crunch head west to take on the Houston Aeros on Friday March 4 at 8:35 p.m. Syracuse returns home on Friday, March 11 to battle the Texas Stars at 7:30 p.m. at The Oncenter War Memorial Arena. Season and single-game tickets for the 2010-11 season are on sale and can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473- 4444, or by stopping by the Crunch office at The Oncenter War Memorial Arena, located at 800 South State Street in downtown Syracuse.
