Wild Recalls Peters from Aeros, Assigns Almond to Houston

HOUSTON --- Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled C Warren Peters from the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League (AHL). The team also reassigned C Cody Almond to the Aeros.

Peters, 28 (7/10/82), has played three games with the Wild on two prior recalls this season, averaging 7:16 time on ice (TOI) without registering a point. Peters has recorded 24 points (11-13$) and 39 penalty minutes (PIM) in 55 games with Houston this season. The 6-foot, 203-pound native of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan wears No. 43 with the Wild.

Almond, 21 (7/24/89), has skated in eight games with Minnesota this season, averaging 7:01 TOI. The 6-foot-2, 217-pound native of Calgary, Alta., has posted 27 points (12-15') in 52 games for the Aeros. Almond was the Wild ‚¬â„¢s fifth-round pick (No. 140 overall) in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
