Rampage Host 4th Annual Teddy Bear Toss

SAN ANTONIO (December 12, 2008) - The San Antonio Rampage, the top affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes, will host their 4th Annual "Teddy Bear Toss" tomorrow when the Quad City Flames visit the AT&T Center.

Fans are encouraged to bring unwrapped, stuffed animals to the game and throw them onto the ice when the Rampage score their first goal. Rampage players will deliver a portion of the toys collected to the Christus Santa Rosa Children's Hospital next Tuesday, December 16. The remaining toys will be donated to the US Marine Crops' Toys-for-Tots program.

Tomorrow is also kid's night in which Radio Disney will be on hand with a dance troupe, fun games, prizes throughout the game and exciting tunes. Doors to the Sombrilla, located on the west side of the arena, will open at 5:30 p.m. and will feature face painters, inflatables, balloon artists, various mascots, Christmas carolers and Santa Claus.

The Christus Santa Rosa Children's Hospital (CSRCH) serves more than 150,000 children each year. CSRCH is a 200-plus bed facility and is the only academic Children's hospital in San Antonio, partnering with The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio while collaborating with private pediatricians to provide comprehensive pediatric services at one location since 1959.

The Toys-for-Tots mission is to collect new, unwrapped toys and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community and to send a message of hope to needy youngsters that will motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders.
