Andrew Ebbett scored the Chops' only goal in Thursday's 2-1 loss in Rockford, and the third-year pro now has points in seven straight games (3-8-11)... Drew Miller is tied for second in the AHL with four game-winning goals, including one in each of Iowa's two wins at Lake Erie last weekend... The Wolves, off since a 6-1 decision over Rockford on Dec. 6, are looking to string together back-to-back wins for the first time since a five-game win streak from Nov. 1-14... Jeff Hamilton has 14 points (2-12-14) in Chicago's last 12 games after being out of the lineup the previous dozen.
Grand Rapids and Manitoba open their four-game season series this weekend when the Griffins visit Winnipeg for games Friday and Saturday... The weekend marks a reunion between Grand Rapids forward Darren Haydar and Manitoba's Jason Krog, who combined for 233 regular-season and playoff points for the 2008 Calder Cup champion Chicago Wolves... Mark Cullen, the Griffins' second-leading scorer in 2007-08, is tied for Manitoba's team lead with 20 points this season... Ville Leino (4-16-20) continues to pace Grand Rapids in scoring this year but has gone five games without a point...
