December 28, 2004 - ECHL (ECHL)
Myrtle Beach Thunderboltz News Release
DULUTH, GA â The Pee Dee Pride dropped their fourth consecutive game Tuesday night, falling to the Gwinnett Gladiators 2-0 in front of 6,282 fans at the Arena at Gwinnett Center.
Gwinnett scored the only goal of the opening period, and it came just 22 seconds into play. Adam Smyth gathered in a long pass just in front of the Pride net, and was able to tuck a shot past Pride goaltender Nick Boucher for his fourth goal of the season.
It remained that way until the 8:21 mark of the third period when the Gladiators Mike Stathopoulos skated free to the hash mark in the left-wing circle and wrested a shot past Boucher for his fourth of the season.
Pee Dee returns home on Friday, hosting the Augusta Lynx at 6:00. It's the first Season-Ticket Holder Redemption Night of the season. Pride season ticket holders can redeem unused tickets for free 200 or 400 level tickets. Tickets must be redeemed through the Pride office by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Following the game, join the Pride for a New Year's Eve Party at RedBone Alley featuring live music by Everette, crab-stuffed filet mignon, and a champagne toast at midnight. Plus, all kids 12 and under who show their ticket stub from the game will receive a free kids' meal.
Tickets for all Pride home games are available at the Florence Civic Center Box Office, or through TicketMaster at (843) 679-93333 or www.ticketmaster.com.
