
Promo Change/More TV Games Announced

SAN DIEGO â The San Diego Gulls announced Tuesday that the Boxer Shorts promotion, originally scheduled for Feb. 25, has been changed to Jan. 15. The ECHL club also announced that three more home games will be televised on Channel 4 San Diego.
The Gulls will host the Louisiana IceGators on Saturday, Jan. 15 at 7:05 p.m. and the first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a special pair of Gulls boxer shorts, courtesy of Coast-To-Coast Tax Service.
All three of the upcoming telecasted games, which will be tape-delayed broadcasts, can be viewed on Channel 4 San Diego. The next televised game is the Jan. 15 game against Louisiana and can be viewed in its entirety on Sunday Jan. 16. Time of the broadcast is yet to be determined.
The other two televised games will be Jan. 8 and Feb. 12, both against the Fresno Falcons. Each of these games will be transformed into two-hour feature shows, produced by the Gulls' video production company Groovy Like A Movie. They will feature game footage, highlights and interviews. The Jan. 8 game will be aired at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19. The Feb. 12 game will be aired at 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 12.
The Gulls conclude their current road trip with a pair of games, Wednesday and Friday, against the Aces, with both starting at 8:15 PST. San Diego then comes home to face the Bakersfield Condors Sunday, Jan. 2 at 5:05 p.m. It will be another "Kids Night" featuring "Skate with the Gulls" immediately follow the game. ALL THREE UPCOMING GAMES WILL BE TELEVISED LIVE ON THE GULLS' WEB SITE, VIA B2 NETWORKS.
