Kamloops BC - The Cougars wrap up the Okanagan Road this evening with a date against the Kamloops Blazers at 7:00 PM. PG will look to win their sixth game in a row.

NEWS AND NOTES
Last Time Out: The Cougars collected their fifth consecutive win with a big 9-2 victory over the Rockets, Friday Prospera Place. Chase Wheatcroft (2), Cole Dubinsky (3), Hudson Thornton, Caden Brown, Jaxsen Wiebe, and Blake Eastman all scored for PG, while Tyler Brennan earned his sixth straight win, making 21 saves on 23 Kelowna shots.
Point Streak Extends to 12: Cougars forward Chase Wheatcroft has been no short of incredible this week. Wheatcroft, 20, has 11 goals and 14 assists in 12 games heading into tonight's contest.
Against the Rockets: The Cougars and Blazers have met six times this season, and the Cats hold a record of 2-2-2 against the BC division leaders. The most recent contest came back on New Year's Eve at the CN Centre where the Cougars exploded for a season high 10 goals in a 10-6 win.
On the Other Side: The division leading Kamloops Blazers enter tonight with five wins in a row, the same as the Prince George Cougars. The Blazers are coming off a 5-2-win last night over the Saskatoon Blades at the Sandman Centre. Olen Zellweger, Logan Bairos, Daylan Kuefler, Fraser Minten, and Matthew Seminoff supplied the Blazer offence, and Dylan Ernst collected the victory, making 25 saves. This will be the first time the Cougars see the Blazers since they acquired Olen Zellweger and Ryan Hofer for 4 players and 10 draft picks (4 1st round picks).
