August 22, 2015 - International League (IL1)
Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will try to snap a two game skid on Saturday night when they take on the Pawtucket Red Sox at McCoy Stadium. First pitch is set for 6:05 p.m.

RHP Alec Asher (1-0, 2.84) gets the ball for the Pigs. Asher's last start came on August 14 vs. the PawSox when he got a no-decision after giving up three runs (two earned) on 10 hits while walking one and fanning four in six innings of work. The right-hander-who was acquired as part of the Cole Hamels trade-was 3-6 with a 4.73 ERA in 12 GS with Triple-A Round Rock earlier this season.

LHP Rich Hill (3-2, 2.25) will be on the bump for manger Kevin Boles' squad on Saturday. Last Saturday at Coca-Cola Park, Hill got the win vs. the Pigs when he surrendered four hits to go along with three walks and two strikeouts in 6.1 IP. The Boston native was 2-2 with a 2.91 ERA over 25 appearances with Syracuse this year.

After tossing a scoreless inning on Friday night, IronPigs RHP Colton Murray has not allowed a run in his last six games and 9.2 IP. In that time, Murray has given up four hits while walking one and fanning ten.
