The IronPigs (55-71) play Game 2 of a three-game series against the sixth-place Pawtucket Red Sox (49-78) at McCoy Stadium... With a 7-3 loss last night, the Pigs have dropped four of their last five match-ups with the Paw Sox and have started 1-2 on this rain-shortened, five-game, North Division road trip. The Pigs have now dropped eight of their last 10 contests overall and 11 of their last 13 affairs against the North Division. Still, over a longer stretch, the Pigs are 33-29 since reaching their low-water mark on June 13 (22-42)... The Red Sox -- Boston's top affiliate -- improved to 5-3 over their past eight games. Still, the Sox have dropped 14 of their last 19 contests and are 11-39 since June 29. They also just took the last series against the Pigs, 3-1, from August 14-16 (take the Pigs out of the equation, and they've lost 13 of their last 14 affairs).

RHP Alec Asher (1-0, 2.84) will start for LHV against LHP Rich Hill (3-2, 2.25).

First Pitch is at 6:05 p.m.
