For the first time ever, the Red Wings are inviting fans to participate in a one-of-a-kind "Tent Sale," featuring numerous items of various values that cannot be bought anywhere else! From special autographed memorabilia to random signage, game-worn Red Wings uniforms to books and collectibles, and other odds and ends from around the ballpark, this sale is certain to have something for both the quirkiest fan and the shrewdest weekend garage sale shopper.
The Tent Sale will take place Saturday, August 29 beginning when the gates open at 6 p.m. for our 7:05 p.m. game against Pawtucket. In addition to the Wings hosting the PawSox, our annual sports card and collectibles show featuring WWE Hall of Famer Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, and post-game fireworks, fans will have exclusive access to all sorts of goodies, available for dynamically discounted prices while they last!
Any remaining items will be available for sale on Sunday, Aug. 30 at 12:30 p.m., when the gates open for our 1:35 p.m. game against the PawSox.
The Red Wings Tent Sale will take place inside the main gates, in front of the Team Store. In the spirit of the event, all purchases must be in cash only. Fans will want to arrive early to ensure a glimpse of the entire supply of items.
Here are just a few highlights of items that will be available at our Aug. 29 Tent Sale:
* Red Wings promo giveaway items from past seasons, plus promo items from other teams
* old yearbooks, media guides, season almanacs and team photos from the Wings and other major and minor league teams
