August 22, 2015 - International League (IL1)
Indianapolis Indians News Release

Charlotte, N.C. -- Top prospect Tyler Glasnow pitched into the seventh inning, struck out nine batters and registered his first career Triple-A win as the Indianapolis Indians (75-53) blanked the Charlotte Knights (66-62), 6-0, on Saturday afternoon at BB&T Ballpark. Fellow prospect Josh Bell collected two hits and drove home two runs in the Tribe victory.

Glasnow (1-0) went 6 1/3 innings and limited the Knights offense to just four hits. His nine strikeouts were the most since his promotion to Indianapolis, and he only issued two walks in the triumph. Bobby LaFromboise finished the seventh inning, rehabbing Pittsburgh Pirates right-hander Rob Scahill worked the eighth, and Frank Herrmann finished the game for the Tribe.

Keon Broxton clubbed his fifth home run of the season with Indianapolis in the top of the fifth, and the Indians offense would score three runs in the ninth to pad the lead. Travis Snider and Willy Garcia singled home runs in the inning, while Bell collected his second run batted in with a sacrifice fly to cap the game's scoring.
