Penguins reassign LW Bobby Russell to Wheeling

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins today reassigned left wing Bobby Russell to their East Coast Hockey League affiliate, the Wheeling Nailers. The announcement was made by Penguins' Head Coach Glenn Patrick.

Russell, 24, has recorded seven points (4+3) and 14 penalty minutes in 26 games this season with the Penguins. He was recalled by Wilkes-Barre/Scranton from Wheeling on February 9.

In 21 games with the Nailers, the 6'2", 205-pound native of Surrey, British Columbia has recorded 20 points (15+5) and 22 penalty minutes.

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (26-25-5-4, 61 points; Third-place, South Division) host the Binghamton Senators (30-20-7-1, 68 points; Second-place, East Division) tonight at 7:05 p.m. at the First Union Arena at Casey Plaza.
